Fampoux (French pronunciation: [fɑ̃pu]) is a commune in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region of France[3] 4 miles (6 km) east of Arras.

Notable people
[edit]- Paul Verlaine, poet spent his holidays there for several years, as his mother's family were from Fampoux. A street and the village school bear his name.[citation needed]
