Hong Yong-jo (Korean: 홍영조; Hancha: 洪映早; born 22 May 1982[1]) is a former North Korean football midfielder. He captained North Korea at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.[2]
Hong is one of the few North Korean footballers to ever play abroad, having had spells in Russia and Serbia.[3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13]
