[edit]Who is this person? There is no English WP article on him and he is not mentioned in the French WP article on Pamiers. The only Google result I found was this article. As I lived in Pamiers some years ago, perhaps I should add my name to the list! If I get no reaction soon, I shall remove the name. LynwoodF (talk) 09:56, 2 February 2014 (UTC)

Re the etymology of Pamiers
[edit]While referencing and expanding an article in es.wiki on the church of San Antolín de Bedón, I came accross an interesting article on Saint Antolín. According to French tradition, there was a saint who went from Arlés to the region of Rouergue and later became a martir. It seems that this saint did not exist and actually refers to a Syrian saint, Saint Antolín of Apamea, Syria, and hence, the name Pamiers, whose relics were brought to France and transferred to the monastery of Saint-Antonin du Rouergue. The article (in Spanish), published by a reputable institution, is available online: San Antolín en el arte palentino Regards, --Maragm (talk) 11:42, 2 July 2014 (UTC)
