The 8th Ohio Volunteers were a regiment of infantry that played a crucial role in the Battle of Gettysburg, as well as in other important fights of the Army of the Potomac during the American Civil War. See 8th Ohio Infantry. I have chosen this name in remembrance of these fighting men from northern Ohio.

The Tireless Contributor Barnstar

As a newpage patroller, Brewcrewer, rarely sees any excellent new articles. So when one like Henry M. Cist crosses his path, he can't help but plaster its creator's talk page with a barnstar. The Wikipedia community is most appreciative of the great Civil War related articles that you continuously churn out. brewcrewer (yada, yada) 04:17, 20 July 2008 (UTC)
