@Bishonen: @Sandstein: Each new section should have direct links to the AfD discussion and the deleted article itself. Howzaboudit? Tapered (talk) 01:37, 5 March 2017 (UTC)

They do, at least the one I know anything about, Wayne Dupree. They're just so hard to find. See the row of links between the article name and the discussion? One of the links is "XfD", which means "something, whatever it may be, for deletion", in other word AfD if we're talking about an article. People who spend their lives amongst deletion discussions will know what XfD means, if they have the luck to catch sight of it (it's very inconspicuous). New users have little chance. Of course the AfD and the article should both be there in longhand, with their own titles! That's why RexxS added a more full link to the AfD, and also to the article, in his text at Wayne Dupree. I'm sure everything here is chrystal clear to the people who designed it and use it daily, but it's pretty impenetrable to anybody else. Yes, I wish it could be reformed. I wish people didn't have to use an everloving template to post a request for review, for instance. I should think the template weeds out 8 out of ten people who would have liked to take an article to deletion review. Sandstein knows I think this, unless he has forgotten the last time I complained. What is this about and why does it concern me?  Sandstein  06:08, 5 March 2017 (UTC)
Easy to use links at the top of the page, so readers can quickly find the article and the AfD discussion. Tapered (talk) 07:36, 5 March 2017 (UTC)
It’s there. It’s “XfD” not ”AfD” as deletion review is not just for articles. The article/template link is the very first link, though it could be a red link.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 08:15, 5 March 2017 (UTC)

Antoine Ramy page deletion

Jack Taffy (talk) 09:29, 11 March 2017 (UTC) Hi, Hi, I am new here and I don't know why this has happened. I just want to know why the page cannot be created and what could be done to fix it? If someone did something wrong while posting this persons what is the mistake of Mr, Tony (Antoine) in it. Please tell me how to fix the article.

  • Hi Jack Taffy. I'm afraid that Wikipedia doesn't want an article about Antoine Ramy. Please see the page logs here and here, which enforce the discussions here and here. I would suggest that you try using a different website or service to promote Mr Ramy. Hope this helps and all the best—S Marshall T/C 10:33, 11 March 2017 (UTC)

closedrv.js flaking out on some discussions?

I use User:Lifebaka/closedrv.js to close DRV discussions. I started noticing recently that it doesn't always work, i.e. I don't always get a "close" item in my More menu. It's sort of random; sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. Anybody else seeing this? -- RoySmith (talk) 00:52, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

March 5 and March 6 discussions haven't been closed yet

Seems there's a backlog right now for the DRV discussions for March 5 and March 6. One of the discussions has had the clock reset (if unofficially), while the other two discussions appear to have reached a consensus. Can someone close them now? Narutolovehinata5 tccsdnew 09:14, 14 March 2017 (UTC)

The clock resetting was because the nomination got lost without the proper headers and didn't get any discussion. I only discovered this when I went to close the discussion above it and found the lost text. -- RoySmith (talk) 14:03, 14 March 2017 (UTC)
