Adding categories coats of arms of cities in France
edit- I see that sometimes in your categories for coats of arms of France, the category of the city is not always mentioned. For having this, you may simply add Category:(''name of city''), which will appear in in blue or red; if red, you click this red city category and give it Category:cities and villages in (''department'').
- I am just checking on geographic categories, it should be kind of you, if you check those done by me, notably for svg and heraldry categories. Good luck. Havang (talk) 17:02, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
A bientot Massimop (talk) 20:23, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
A bientot Massimop (talk) 21:04, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

Hello Spax89!
Thank you for providing images to Wikimedia Commons. Please keep in mind that images uploaded to Commons should be useful to all users of Wikimedia projects. This is possible only if the images can be found by other people.
To allow others to find the images you uploaded here, the images should be in some place that can be found by navigating the category structure. This means that you should put the images into appropriate topic pages, categories, optionally galleries, or both of them (see Commons:Categories). To find good categories for your images, the CommonSense tool may help.
You can find a convenient overview of your uploaded files in this gallery.
The important point is that the images should be placed in the general structure somewhere. There are a large number of completely unsorted images on Commons right now. If you would like to help to place some of those images where they can be found, please do!
Thank you. BotMultichillT (talk) 09:19, 1 December 2008 (UTC)

Why did you upload so many images of radically-differing appearances under this name? AnonMoos (talk) 02:20, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Dude, please do see fit to inform me why you're not up to answering my simple question, but you do seem perfectly capable of vandalistically removing valid categories from the image description page?? AnonMoos (talk) 17:42, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- Whatever -- I have a basic knowledge of simple ordinary written prose French, but that doesn't change the fact that you still haven't anwswered the first question:
- POURQUOI AVEZ-VOUS TELECHARGÉ TANT DE FICHIERS TRÈS DIFFÉRENTS ET VARIÉS SUR UN SEUL MÊME NOM?? POURQUOI? DONNEZ-MOI UNE REPONSE, SVP AnonMoos (talk) 21:16, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- C'est marqué dans le titre du fichier: "Brouillon"--Spax89 (talk) 21:26, 7 December 2008 (UTC)
- OK, when I first came across the page I was assuming that "Brouillon" was probably the name of a village in France (since you put a Template:Blason-fr-en-it on the page, which you shouldn't do for a mere scratch area), and later when I thought I was looking up "brouillon" in my dictionary, it turns out that I was actually looking at the entry for "bouillon", which I found to be a rather vague and indeterminate term (like a lot of other words in the French language, such as "feu"). You would have saved some unpleasantness all around if you had just clearly answered the question the first time around, or had put some meaningful indication of the purpose of the image on the image description page itself... Double blason
editBonjour,
Babylas (talk) 16:31, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Babylas (talk) 07:30, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Meilleures salutations
