English: Alexandrina was built in 1864 by John Smith, Aberdeen for J. Brodie, London. She was a wooden ship and originally full rigged. Later rerigged to a barque.. Dimensions: 176 × 30.3 × 18 ft (53.6 × 9.2 × 5.4 m) and gross tonnage 670 tons. 1878 sold to French owner P. Leroux; Port belonging to Bordeaux. The ship was now renamed Alphonse et Marie and 1887 Alphonse et Marie II by the same owner. 1888-89: No reference.[1]
