Commons:Queensland Museum

The Queensland Museum is the state museum of Queensland in Australia. It operates five different public museums, with a collection of more than one million items.

In September 2009, the Queensland Museum announced it would upload content to Wikimedia Commons, as a trial following the GLAM-WIKI conference in August that year. Twenty high resolution photographs taken by Albert Edwin Roberts in the early 20th century were uploaded. The pictures are digitised from the plate glass negatives held by the museum.
