Thanks for uploading File:A Prayer by William St. John Harper.png. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.

If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.)

If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there.

Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you.

No required license templates were detected at this file page. Please correct it, or if you have any questions please check my FAQ or contact me on my talk page. Yours sincerely, Jarekt (talk) 03:16, 14 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for pointing out the license mistake. It was supposed to be PD-old-100. The mistake has now been corrected.

A barnstar for you!

Dear Cbaile19,
The leftmost image in the gallery above shows typical Veronica filiformis, not Veronica persica. I know Veronica filiformis as a lawn weed both in my area (Germany) and from Canada (coastal British Columbia). Even though your image does not look like it is from a lawn, it still shows Veronica filiformis with the typical almost circular small leaves with some very small teeth. Veronica persica has got larger teeth, bigger leaves that are mostly not even close to circular and much thicker stems. I changed the description and the category already, but the image must be renamed. With best regards, --Robert Flogaus-Faust (talk) 14:59, 26 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Cbaile19, I just saw that your last contribution to the Commons was more than 3 years ago. So I issued the necessary rename request. With best regards, --Robert Flogaus-Faust (talk) 17:19, 30 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Cbaile19:

Hi Cbaile19,
first: thanks for the four good pictures of the genus Stanhopea. I had the images reviewed by one of the best Stanhopeinae experts and taxonomists in the world.
(By the way, author of many valid first descriptions of Stanhopea species)
For him, the pictures of Stanhopea ruckeri was clear.
Maybe you can talk to the botanists of the botanical garden again.
Then you could also ask about the country of origin of the unidentified Stanhopea in order to be able to make a reliable determination.
Many thanks and greetings. Orchi (talk) 14:14, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your work. I’m not an expert, so I see no reason not to accept your expert’s opinion. I took the name from the tag in the Phipps Conservatory orchid room, and those tags may be inaccurate. The orchid collection is huge—only a tiny percentage can be displayed at any one time—and many have been growing in the production houses for decades (the conservatory has been open since 1892).
For the same reason, I suspect the conservatory has no idea where that other Stanhopea came from. It probably lost its original tag years ago, and since the current tag just says “Stanhopea species,” that’s probably as much as anyone there knows. If I have a chance, I’ll ask one of the orchid minders.
Thank you again for your expertise. Cbaile19 (talk) 15:29, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
…..I look forward to more pictures of the the Phipps Conservatory botanical garden  :-) Orchi (talk) 17:54, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
