Notifications intermittently buzzing and showing settings

I am having an issue where the notifications setting screen or the swipe down screen is showing after it buzzes. It happens intermittently and even through the night. I have only noticed it happening over the past few day and am not sure that it is linked to the update but it is more than a coincidence. I have looked through this section and dont note anyone with this issue.

Hey there @JohnUnewL. Welcome to the Fitbit Forums! 🙂

Whenever you receive a notification, your tracker will vibrate. If you don't lift your arm to see it or if you don't press any button, the screen will remain off.

If later on, you decide to lift your arm to see your tracker and you haven't done that since the notification came in or haven't pressed any button since then, the first thing you will see will be the notification. Once you see the notification if you put your arm down and see the screen again, this time you will see the regular clock face.

Is this the way it's working or is it any different?

Mine is also intermittently buzzing and going to notifications even after clearing notifications, resettting and shutting down numerous times.  I also see a shadowy partial dot at the edge of the screen.

I only posted because the previous suggestions weren't working. I had to fullly charge then alternately reset and shut down 12 times before it worked.
