Georgia defeated Portugal 44-14 in the final of the European Under-19 Championship to qualify for the 2015 World Rugby Under 20 Trophy.[1][2] In 2015 they were promoted to World Rugby Under 20 Championship after winning the 2015 World Rugby Under 20 Trophy and in 2017, Georgia hosted the World Rugby Under 20 Championship.[3] in 2018 they finished 9th, the best result in history.
