Tone Concerns

Water Hammer
editThe surges in question here are water hammers, this article is unnecessary or at least should be merged with the water hammer article under the mitigation section — Preceding unsigned comment added by Barn201 (talk • contribs) 14:51, 9 May 2013 (UTC)
Relief Valve and Pilot Valve
editLack of knowledge on the function of both of these devices. Confusion in terminology used. There are specific Code requirements that apply to the operation of these devices. There should be links to Pressure Relief Valves and Safety Relief Valves. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.164.70.8 (talk) 20:24, 2 February 2017 (UTC)

The result of the move request was: not moved. The claim made by the IP is not correct; the article talks almost completely about controlling Hydraulic Surges. The only mention of what a Hydraulic Surge is is in the first section, so that readers can understand why controlling these surges is needed. The rest of the article talks about methods to prevent these surges. (closed by non-admin page mover) Dreamy Jazz 🎷 talk to me | my contributions 22:31, 6 November 2018 (UTC)
Surge control → Hydraulic Surge, as used within the article itself. 86.12.160.194 (talk) 10:54, 30 October 2018 (UTC)
