editFrom the article:
- This is a list of all traffic circles that have ever existed in New Jersey.
- This list is incomplete; you can help by expanding it.
So, is it complete or not?

The goal is a complete list. It is not yet there. Further circles are listed as remarks by location; these either are unnamed or the original editor did not know their names. TCC (talk) (contribs) 23:49, 1 October 2005 (UTC)
Are my entries really "traffic circles"?
editI have been adding a few "traffic circles" (I think 4 as of now) that I recently thought of as "traffic circles," meaning I had never thought of them as traffic circles until recently. I figured I'd add them to the article and that the accompanying images would help others verify them as true traffic circles or not--they all, though, have some form of circular shape, just not names as far as I know. //MrD9 04:45, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
GPS Coords/Maps
editI think we should attempt to add GPS coords/Maps (Satellite, the best seem so far to be from google maps.google.com/Google Earth (pretty much same data); airplane images from MSFT Windows live local local.live.com are amazing, and available for at least most of northern NJ (havent checked the rest of the state)... but in my attempts to find other circles to see if my "circles" are circles or not, i've had bad luck finding images of existing ones. I'm sure there's some template thing (liek those at the bottom of NJ MunicipalitY (US MUNI?) articles--or a new tempalte for somethign like this--could pretty much do this automatically, other than potentially finding the coordinates by hand using a map program?
I'm not good with maps, but I think that external links to real images (and maps if the former's not possible) woudl be very beneficial. SOrry for the horrible typing/grammar--in a rush. //MrD9 04:50, 14 February 2006 (UTC)
Route 12 Circle
editOne circle on the list is labeled as the "Route 12 Circle." While I can identify this circle by process of elimination (with the other two Flemington circles labeled the "Flemington Circle" and the "Main Street Circle"), I think this label is somewhat confusing. Why? Because State Route 12 enters all three Flemington circles. Although I must admit I'm not sure I can come up with a more appropriate name. Only the Flemington Circle has ever been "named" to the best of my knowledge. The "Main Street Circle" was always "the one by Krauzer's" to me. [Note: Krauzer's is a convenience store chain that has a franchise location on that circle.] And the "Route 12 Circle" was known to me as "the one out Route 12" or "the one Mine Street dumps into" or the like. Thoughts? --YLlama 18:29, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- If we're going to list unnamed circles, we have to call them something. I'd favor using the names of the roads that intersect there, the most significant ones if there are more than, say, three. Frankly I'm surprised this one is redlinked. I can't see there ever being an article about it. TCC (talk) (contribs) 22:20, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- I've been a Flemington resident for the last 15 years, and I've always kown it as "the Rt 12 Circle". It'd be better if I could recall where I heard it, obviously, but the name _does_ seem to be well-known.24.149.152.50 22:00, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
What about...
edit...Four Mile Circle? I don't see that here, but it could be an alternate name.
And how about the Bound Brook circle? 68.39.174.238 04:55, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
- Added Bound Brook circle. Rhvanwinkle (talk) 21:58, 12 January 2009 (UTC)
Reorganisation
editI suggest providing separate sections for circles that have been significantly modified or are no longer existent. --Bossi (talk ;; contribs) 11:12, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
Diners
editIt seems that almost every NJ traffic circle had/has a diner on it, such as Olga's at Marlton Circle. Should this be mentioned with a sentence in the article, since diners are sort of a NJ institution? I'd even suggest adding a diner column to the list, though that might be considered too off-topic.TheSquirrel (talk) 04:34, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
- An observation that is probably true, but does not seem sufficiently encyclopedic to include. Include the details if you can find a source to support the diner/circle relationship. Alansohn (talk) 05:01, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
New Brunswick circle
editWasn't there a circle where Route 18 meets Route 1 in New Brunswick north of the Turnpike? 69.115.56.118 (talk) 20:04, 22 August 2011 (UTC)NEXTBARKER
