Notability
[edit]Does anyone really think this guy is notable enough for wikipedia? 82.36.217.136 (talk) 22:22, 18 June 2009 (UTC)
Regualtions on biographies of living persons mentions the following two things:
"Wikipedia also contains biographies of people who, while notable enough for an entry, are not generally well known."
"If the event is significant, and if the individual's role within it is substantial, a separate article for the person may be appropriate."
Stafford is attempting somthing that no person on Earth has ever attempted. It will take him two and a half years of which he has completed a year and a half. It is a significant event in which his individual role is very substantial. BruceParry (talk) 00:00, 1 August 2009 (UTC)
I have had to remove issues regarding spam, notoriety and autobiography allegations. I agree with the reply above that the subject deserves an entry and is well referenced. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ben Sykes1964 (talk • contribs) 20:15, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
I do not think he is relevant enough to have a Wikipedia entry. An-article-on-virtually-anybody policy lowers the quality of any encyclopedia. To ensure quality, less is more.
well done Ed

We need a filmography
[edit]Since Ed has appeared in numerous TV shows it needs to be compiled. Anyone up to the challenge? I'm looking at you Stafford.

[edit]This person is described as an explorer, the link to "explorer" seems completely irrelevant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gowt (talk • contribs) 05:16, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
