This article could be usefully expanded with content about territorial behaviour, use of burrows, and the multiple burrows that kiwi may have in their territory. Content about the release of kiwi into the west of Wellington (the Capital Kiwi project) could also be added. I see that recordings of kiwi calls are sought. Those can be downloaded from the DOC website; they kindly offer those with a free license. Then upload them to Wikimedia Commons and bingo – they can then be used in the article. Schwede66 09:11, 26 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
