A tag has been placed on Emilyn Mornelli, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Notability of Krista Smith

[edit]

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Krista Smith, by Gilesbennett, another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Krista Smith seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Krista Smith, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Please note, this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion, it did not nominate Krista Smith itself. Feel free to leave a message on the bot operator's talk page if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot. --Android Mouse Bot 2 22:07, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Walt Disney video releases

[edit]

I see you have been adding information about logos used on Disney video releases. While you may find it of interest, such logos are of too-limited interest to be included in Wikipedia articles. —tregoweth (talk) 02:55, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Notability of Andi Whaley

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Andi Whaley, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Realkyhick 17:31, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Maya Rosewood → Megan Hollingsead

[edit]

Um, what evidence do you have to support that these two are the same person? I can assure you that they are indeed two separate people. Hollingshead lives in California now, while Rosewood dubs in New York. I'm not mad or anything, I'm just curious, since there is a lot of false information in the Pokémon community and I want to make sure everything is 100% accurate. Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. AfD nomination of Andi Whaley

[edit]

Andi Whaley, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Andi Whaley satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Andi Whaley and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Andi Whaley during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. John Kennedy (puppeteer)

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article John Kennedy (puppeteer), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you agree with the deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please add {{db-author}} to the top of John Kennedy (puppeteer). Orphaned non-free media (Image:3 2.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:3 2.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:37, 26 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading Image:Duart film video.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. Thanks for uploading Image:Lifetime Television.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Proposed deletion of South County Center

[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article South County Center, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No assertion of notability, no references, and for all intents and purposes the article is a directory -- something that Wikipedia is not.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Thanks for uploading File:Ivey's.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

Fair use rationale for File:Castner-Knott Com..png

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Castner-Knott Com..png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Alison & Allie

[edit]

A tag has been placed on Alison & Allie, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the page appears to have no meaningful content or history, and the text is unsalvageably incoherent.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the page's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Since the cabletvtalk.com forum does not meet WP:RS, I have reverted the addition of that logo to the article, as I'm not sure it is the official logo, and it's also too small for our uses. Since Wikipedia has no deadline, it would be prudent to find a higher quality version of the logo from an official or reputable source rather than uploading the first logo found on a fansite. Odyssey

[edit]

Hello. Recently I created two articles, Vision Interfaith Satellite Network and the American Christian Television System (& re-wrote parts of three other related ones, including the Hallmark Channel). These networks merged and eventually became the Hallmark Channel. I tell you this because I want to get your input with what to do about Odyssey Network, as you are the major contributor to that article.

While the VISN and ACTS networks stand alone (and have significant background material, with independant reliable sources). information about the ACTS-VISN merger and the Faith and Values incarnation are easily handled in those articles. In fact, Faith and Values Channel itself redirects to Hallmark Channel for lack significant independant sourcing.

Based on my own research, I propose that the same happen for the Odyssey Network. I say this because I have been unable to come up with significant sources about the Odyssey incarnation of the network, and feel that what there is can likewise be easily covered in existing articles. But I am open to other suggestions. Anyway, thought that it'd be civil to at least run the idea by you. Dan, the CowMan (talk) 22:36, 2 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Matthew Cantrell! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 2 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Hello, Matthew Cantrell. I wanted to let you know that I’m proposing an article that you started, ACI Worldwide Distribution, for deletion because I don't think it meets our criteria for inclusion. If you don't want the article deleted:

  1. edit the page
  2. remove the text that looks like this: {{proposed deletion/dated...}}
  3. save the page

Also, be sure to explain why you think the article should be kept in your edit summary or on the article's talk page. If you don't do so, it may be deleted later anyway.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. UBStalk 17:01, 15 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Fresh TV, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Naomi van Dooren. Since you had some involvement with the Naomi van Dooren redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so. Steel1943 (talk) 23:05, 13 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Jamie Owens

[edit]

The article Jamie Owens has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable voice actor. Only one anime role and it was for a minor character for about 20-30 episodes of Pokemon, which has hundreds of episodes. Does not meet WP:ENT

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
