Need your guidance for page Anil Lamba

[edit]

Hi Friend, I created a page, Anil Lamba. But, it was tagged. I have improved the page since then, and added all the references too. Can you please, check it once? Can you guide me? Who can remove the tag? Please, help me out. Take care. Have a great day. Thanks a lot. IQR (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 07:09, 3 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Question on Tinkle CSD script

[edit]

Hi! I saw that you flagged my new article BiggerPockets for CSD. Was that a manual action based on your review? Or was it something in the Tinkle CSD module that flagged it? Asking because my new article is not substantially identical to the deleted version. I wrote the article from scratch, although you can see that I pulled the prior article from the deletion archives last month- it was basically worthless so I just started over. Information icon Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Stephen Schneider (actor): you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template index/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned.

Whack!

You've been whacked with a wet trout.

Don't take this too seriously. Someone just wants to let you know that you did something silly.

Portlaoise Plane

[edit]

Hi Tanbiruzzaman. Thanks for your message. My edit was genuine, not a test. There is much interest in the historic Portlaoise Plane consequently I listed my new book which tells the fascinating story of the search for a plane missing for over 50 years. Thank You. Just for your interest/info

[edit]

Hey I thought I’d just let you know that some edits you reverted recently (Special:Diff/1156945193) were the work of users under a sockpuppet investigation, and some of them have already been blocked. Please see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/2021Porto Final. Fork99 (talk) 20:25, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

August 2024

[edit]
Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Salman Fazlur Rahman shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Non-attributed translations

[edit]

Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you translated text from bn:আওকরা মসজিদ to another page. While you are welcome to translate Wikipedia content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing requires that you provide attribution to the contributor(s) of the original article. When translating from a foreign-language Wikipedia article, this is supplied at a minimum in an edit summary on the page where you add translated content, identifying it as a translation and linking it to the source page. Sample wording for this is given here. If you forgot, or were not aware of this requirement, attribution must be given retroactively, for example:

NOTE: Content in the edit of 01:25, January 25, 2023 was translated from the existing French Wikipedia article at [[:fr:Exact name of French article]]; see its history for attribution.

Retroactive attribution may be added using a dummy edit; see Repairing insufficient attribution. It is good practice, especially if translation is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{translated page}} template on the talk page of the destination article. If you have added translated content previously which was not attributed at the time it was added, you must add attribution retrospectively, even if it was a long time ago. You can read more about author attribution and the reasons for it at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. – DreamRimmer (talk) 11:29, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Mila Nitich

[edit]

Hi, please could you explain why you reverted my first edit to af:Mila Nitich here? Was it a mistake? TSventon (talk) 15:30, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@TSventon, It's surely a mistake. I apologize for that. Returned to previous state, last version of you. –TANBIRUZZAMAN (💬) 15:34, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
