Should be merged into Osama bin Laden#Death. This is a premature fork, and due to the paucity of current information, unnecessary to establish encyclopedic value. Cerejota (talk) 03:40, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Keep major event with repercussions into the future. This will have many writings on this topic. The content will be significant enough to not be worth merging. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 03:43, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep for now, to see if enough info comes out to justify a separate article. If not, then Merge. But there's no rush. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 03:43, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Obviously to be expanded in a long way. --Diego Grez (talk) 03:44, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Merge for now. Inherently a notable topic but as the nominator rightly said, this is a premature fork. Not opposed to splitting back out in future once more information is known, but for now the main article itself as it stands hardly has enough information. Strange Passerby (talk • cont) 03:44, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep As this is a current event currently being documented, we cannot yet determine how notable or widespread the coverage of the information on his death will be. Needless to say, if more information surfaces and we find out that there will no longer be a need for a dedicated article, I'll change to Delete Marlith (Talk) 03:44, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep: I disagree. The article could become a huge one, and other deaths aren't in the person's section.
- Speedy Keep it doesn't take a crystal ball to know that this even will be portrayed in books and film over the next few years. Rklawton (talk) 03:45, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, way too early to tell! Do not AfD articles about events that are still being discussed by Obama. /ƒETCHCOMMS/ 03:45, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

- Speedy Keep. Necessary and essential. Dheppens (talk) 03:45, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Speedy Keep - this is obviously going to be a significant enough event to be a fully expanded article in the near future. I don't see why we need to follow crystalball in this situation.Kevin (talk) 03:45, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep If we delete it, we'll be recreating it in 12 hours. Foofish (talk) 03:46, 2 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
