Yesterday I came back from three months travelling in the Netherlands. That is it for now. Summer starts and school holidays too, so time to settle down, and work on another badge of pictures.
This is an oldie from that hot summer night two years ago. This is ca 300 meters from where I live.
The old post office building and "the 3 towers", seen from the Korenlei, once a quay of the medieval port
Due to a sleepless night, i trekked around the city at 2am and found this view! Here i decided to take the time and create one of my first proper manual exposure shots :)
Some cities sleep at night.
Let´s go to the next stations.

Blue hour casts a warm glow over the city of Toronto. This was captured as we made our way back to the car from an afternoon at the Winter Festival in the Distillery District. The sky suddenly filled with colour but the road we were walking by was filled with traffic, including big trucks. The trickiest part of this shot was trying to time an opening between trucks blocking the view as they passed.
The Chicago city skyline from Grant Park just before sunrise... but what... too many clouds for a sunrise to be seen. How unfair is that???

Street capture from Glasgow, Scotland.
A previously unpublished shot from August 2019. In the many years I was shooting street regularly in Glasgow I only got hit by flying pigeon droppings once. Definitely lucky though because being overflown like this was a common occurrence. I love that there is a gull refusing to join in with these pigeons. Enjoy!
