Absolute Doom was a major Live-Event in Chapter 5: Season 4. It featured the community wide Boss battle against Doctor Doom in his new Pandora's Armor.
Buildup[]
In the Refinery Event during Chapter 5: Season 3: Megalo Don tried to fuel the Leviathan with Nitro to raze the island to the ground, only to be sabotaged and betrayed by Doom, who would later make his grand appearance in Chapter 5: Season 4.
During Chapter 5: Season 4, Doom would try to forge a new armor for himself that would withstand the power of Pandora's Box, so he can consume all of its power. The heroes, being Hope and Jones would try to stop Doom and rift him out of the island using tech made by Shuri and later Tony Stark. During the process, Rift Beacons would detect a great power coming quickly to the island, which Jones figures out it'd be Doom who's coming to the island for the battle. Hope says that she's not ready, but Jones assures her that she is ready for the Final Battle.
On October 1st, 2024, a countdown for the live event could be seen in the middle of Island, west of Reckless Railways, with Rift Beacons pointing at Doom's Arcane Forge.

The Event[]
Prelude[]
After the 5th and final Rift Beacon activated, all the beacons fire towards Doom's Arcane Forge on Hope's command to rift it and Castle Doom out of Reality Zero. To her surprise, Doom had already planned ahead and encased the Forge in a magic barrier. Blocking the rift energy and absorbing it into the barrier, which then detonated and unleashed a massive shockwave duststorm onto the players. Launching them and four of the Rift Beacons away.
Cutscene[]
As the dust disipated, the Colossal Doctor Doom emerged in his Pandora Armor and begun his attack on the island. Being completely invulnerable to the armaments of the Loopers and Avengers on the ground, only being lightly tapped by Jones on his shoulder as he haphazardly threw Captain America's Shield at Doom. Catching his attention in the process and nearly killed before being narrowly saved by Hope, whom took the shield to block a Scorch Beam directed towards him while unknowingly empowering it in the process. Noticing her, Doom then picked her up in a display of overwhelming power towards Hope, which backfired as she struck him in his eye with the Pandora-Enchanted Shield. Shattering his invulnerability and scorching Hope's right arm, forcing him to drop her with a glowing scar now etched onto his mask.
The heroes group up, and thus the battle has begun.
DEFEAT DOCTOR DOOM![]
For the duration of the event, Doctor Doom will always appear at the center of the Island battling Captain Jones with a Legendary Rocket Launcher, Gwenpool with Epic Dual Micro SMGs, and Peelverine with an Epic Combat Assault Rifle. With a staggering 
2,000,000,000,000 Health and massive Damage Reduction applied to all players towards each other within the arena, all participants must work together to defeat Doctor Doom.
As the battle goes on, Rifts would begin to constantly appear around the arena and spawn in Ammo Boxes, Stark Industries Chests, and Avengers Chests for players to use against Doctor Doom.
While Doctor Doom's health depleted his armor would slowly begin to crack and glow with Pandora Energy. Once he reached around 5%, the last remaining Rift Beacon was repositioned and activated nearby his location. Charging up a rift that would bring him back to Reality: 616.
Postlude[]
Having reached critical damage, Doctor Doom's armor couldn't sustain the Pandora Energy he absorbed for much longer as it escaped him and were sucked into the Rift. With him slowly shrinking down and being pulled into it, he lets out one final yell before being forcefully transported out of Reality Zero. Leaving behind his damaged mask in the dried up lake.
With the battle over, the Damage Reduction towards Players was later lifted as Captain Jones, Gwenpool, and Peelverine began to celebrate the battle won. Doing various Emotes at the arena for the remainder of the matches they still appear in.

- 5:00 AM ET: The countdown has been activated.
- Peelverine will now spawn here as a Character and will give out quests to help him with the Rift Beacons.
- Central Lake has dried up, with the river spreading to Grim Gate losing its water.
- 5:00 AM ET: The countdown has been activated.
- October 5th 2024
- 1:00 PM ET: 1st rift beacon has been activated.
- 1:15 PM ET: 2nd rift beacon has been activated.
- 1:30 PM ET: 3rd rift beacon has been activated.
- 1:45 PM ET: 4th rift beacon has been activated.
- 2:00 PM ET: 5th rift beacon has been activated. Event starts.
- The Captain Jones, Gwenpool, and Peelverine Characters didn't appear in their locations after this due to them being present in the battle.
- 2:40 PM ET: Doctor Doom's armor started to crack.
- 2:44 PM ET: Doctor Doom's armor started to crack even more.
- 2:51 PM ET: The only standing rift beacon repositioned and began activation.
- 2:53 PM ET: Doctor Doom has been defeated and was rifted away. Leaving his damaged mask behind.

Trivia[]
- The Live Event's codename is "DeckBed".
- The music was composed by Phill Boucher.[5]
- 5.7 millions players attended the live event.
- Due to the amount of players contributing to the battle, the community was able to defeat Doctor Doom in 53 minutes.
- As Doctor Doom was still just a Boss AI:
- He will perform Dance Moves at normal speed when stuck. Even with his reduced animation speed.
- He will appear as Infantry Commander if his Outfit were to not load properly.
- During the cutscene, Bots, Latverian Guards and War Machine's Auto Turret could still eliminate players as they were not stuck in place.
- There is a small continuity error in the cutscene, as Gwenpool is shown to be in her Dark Gwenpool Style, but would later be seen wearing her default Style in the actual event.
- The event did not happen in Team Rumble.
- Before the final Rift Beacon activated, the countdown timer was originally going to be hacked by Doom in a manner similar to the Refinery Event. However it did not appear when the timer reached zero.
