Interesting discussion by Nick Simson and Joe Crawford, on (less) professional blog names and whatnot.
My blog’s called … “Jan’s Blog,” after the legendary Veerle’s Blog1, and lives at firstname.lastname.net. (I liked the idea of having the possibility to use subdomains to host family members’—hypothetical, for now—web presences.)
I also “run” a silly and near-dead Dutch-language blog with a somewhat more original name, and an equally near-dead front for my “one-man web dev shop” (which again is just my full name plus ccTLD).
Maybe one day I’ll revive geekcompass.com, or find a use for punk.rawk.show.
