The season began on September 7, 2023, with defending Super Bowl LVII champion Kansas City falling to Detroit in the NFL Kickoff Game, and the regular season ended on January 7, 2024. The Playoffs began on January 13, 2024 And Ended On February 11, 2024 with the Super Bowl LVIII The Kansas City Chiefs won the Super Bowl for the second time in a row, defeating the San Francisco 49ers.

The playoffs started on January 13, and concluded on February 11 with Super Bowl LVIII, the league's championship game, at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada, where the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime.
