DC Universe Online received good reviews. It receive a grade of 7/10 from IGN.[8] The rating further improves to 8/10 after its PlayStation 4 launch.[9]
As of August 2014, the game has 18 million registered users. On gaming platforms PlayStation 3 and 4, the game is free of charge to play. It is the highest profit earning game on those platforms. [10]
