Indonesia first competed in the Olympic Games in 1952.

The International Olympic Committee's official abbreviation for Indonesia is INA.[1]

Indonesia was first at the Olympic Games in 1952. They have been in every Summer Olympic Games since then, except for 1964 and 1980. Indonesia has been in the Youth Olympic Games but not Winter Olympic Games.

The National Olympic Committee for Indonesia was formed in 1946 and recognized in 1952.
