Peggy Carter (Marvel Cinematic Universe)

Margaret "Peggy" Carter, also known as Agent Carter, is a fictional character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), portrayed by actress Hayley Atwell. Based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, she first appeared in the movie Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) as a British intelligence officer during World War II. Peggy is known for her strong will, intelligence, and combat skills, and she plays a significant role in the story of Steve Rogers, also known as Captain America. She appears in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man (both in 2015).

In the MCU, Peggy is depicted as a key member of the Strategic Scientific Reserve (SSR) and becomes a love interest for Steve Rogers.
