Chalactans were humans[2] native to the planet Chalacta.[4] Two prominent Chalactans were Jedi Master Depa Billaba[5] and her sister Sar Labooda.[6]
Behind the scenes[]
Chalactans made their first appearance in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace, the first film of the prequel trilogy.[7] In Star Wars Legends Chalactans were presented as a Near-Human species.[8]
