Ryoo Naberrie was a human female who was born into the Naberrie family[1] in 28 BBY.[2] Her mother, Sola, was uninterested in having a partner, although she was comfortable with having children, a position not uncommon on Naboo.[1] Ryoo was raised on her people's home planet of Naboo during the final years of the Galactic Republic,[1] along with her sister, Pooja.[4] Her aunt, Padmé Amidala, met her shortly after she was born. Ryoo reached up to touch the Amidala's Japor snippet, which Amidala quickly hid inside her collar to keep out of the baby's grasp.[1]
Shortly before the Clone Wars began, Senator Amidala and the Jedi Padawan Anakin Skywalker visited the Naberrie family.[5] Amidala died after giving birth to twins, Luke and Leia, who were fathered by Skywalker. After the Clone Wars, the Naberries attended Amidala's funeral.[3]
Personality and traits[]
Naberrie had brown hair, brown eyes, and light skin.[3]
Equipment[]
Ryoo wore a black hooded dress to show her mourning at her aunt's funeral.[3]
