When you first join the YouTube Shopping affiliate program, you can provide a description of your brands and services. The description will appear on creator discovery surfaces, increasing your visibility. Adding a description can help make it easier for creators to find you.
To add a merchant description, follow the steps below:
- In your Merchant Center account, select YouTube affiliate from the left-navigation menu.
- On the "Overview tab", find the “Settings” card and select Manage settings.
- On the “Settings” page that opens, select the text field next to “Merchant description” and enter a description about your brand.
