The Reply command no longer shows when I want to send an email back to the person that sent it. There is a note at the bottom of the email that says: A unique identity matching the From address was not found. The message will be sent using the current From field and setting from identity Vince Hunter < omni232@telus.net> Can you give me instructions in laymans terms to fix this bug and return it back to the way it was?

I started a new email to which I wanted to insert a screenshot png file. When I 'pasted' the screenshot into the body of the email, it opened a new new email, (deleted the original draft text) and attached the screenshot. Not the result I was looking for. Is it not possible to embed an image into the body of an email?

Hi, The emails I get regularly from Rumble from the people I follow are not showing the picture content I normally see in the mail body. It has been replaced with a hyperlink that says 'thumbnail'. I have the View -> Message Body set to 'Original HTML'. When I change it to 'Simple HTML' it does not solve the problem. I have attached a screenshot of the email.

I haven't received any emails since Dec 11 just before the last update. The tray on the bottom of the screen indicates that emails are down loading but none appear. Now I'm wondering it here is some kind of jam since there are now quite a few. I have cleared the recent history .

The messages in 2 of my Gmail email accounts have completely disappeared! Gone with no trace. How do I get them back? On Jan 1st, the first email Inbox messages disappeared and the next day the emails in another email Inbox were gove. I spent time yesterday reading ideas on how to fix this and trying every one, but no luck. Messages that had been moved into sub-folders and Sent messages are all still there. I use those 2 email addresses to operate an online business and really need the messages back as soon as possible.

The problem is only with Gmail Inboxes. I have other email addresses from Yahoo or individual domains and all of those accounts look fine.

I have been using Outlook for my mail client but am thinking about switching to Thunderbird. In my Outlook client I currently have 20 emails in the junk folder of one of my email accounts. When I setup the same email account in Thunderbird I noticed that all the junk mail is not showing up. I now wonder if Thunderbird blocks junk mail at the source? If so, how can I be sure that some mail is not incorrectly flagged as junk and thus removed?

Bonjour, et meilleurs vœux pour cette nouvelle année 2025 qui commence.

Voilà déjà plusieurs années que j'utilise Thunderbird pour ma messagerie et qui a toujours favorablement bien fonctionné, avec tous les mails sur un disque externe, ceux du jour comme ceux que j'ai pu sauvegarder dans des fichiers. Bref un fonctionnement parfait et surtout beaucoup mieux qu'orange qui plante au bout de trois mots Un choix que j'avais fait jadis aussi pour éviter tous risque de piratages comme certains de mes amis ont pu avoir.

Il y a un peu plus de trois mois, un matin Thunderbird a tout simplement refusé de s'ouvrir, sans raison apparente car aucun changement n'avait été opéré, pas même la veille, sur mon ordinateur fixe équipé de Windows11. Etant responsable de plusieurs associations, j'avais regroupé dans Thunderbird les Emails et messageries correspondants à ces dernières, pour une énorme question de facilité.

J'ai d'abord effectué des recherches personnelles pour savoir qu'est-ce qui pouvait être la cause de ce non fonctionnement. J'ai bien sur interrogé Geek Ozone qui m'a dit la chose suivante que Thunderbird était "un camion avec sa remorque". Vraiment, j'étais fort bien avancé avec ce type de réponse ! Je me suis donc tourné vers l'Intelligence Artificielle de Copilote qui m'a fais faire et refaire un tas de test et de contrôle et cela a pu duré un plus de trois jours, mais au final Thunderbird s'est quand même ouvert et a téléchargé les mails du 04/11/2023 au 21/01/2024 et rien de plus, et toujours rien à ce jour alors qu'il y en a 1625 sur Wanadoo. J'ai fais aussi appel à un informaticien mais qui a juste réussi à me créer un nouveau profile. Donc je n'étais pas plus avancé. Les sauvegardes effectuées auparavant non pas eu plus de succès, pour une remise en route. Alors que faire maintenant ?

Je reste à votre disposition pour tous renseignements complémentaires. Bien sûr j'aurai aimé une aide du type de TeamViewer. Certes je fais de l'informatique depuis 45 ans mais dans ce domaine de dépannage je reste bien dépourvu.

I have the Owl add-on for Microsoft Exchange. However, Thunderbird will filter the messages and attempt to forward them but the following messages appear for each instance, "Sending of the message failed. The mail server responded: Request failed; Mailbox unavailable. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again."

I have checked and the three E-mail addresses that I am attempting to forward messages are correct.

I have done a bit os searching but don't seem to find a solution. I'm using what I think is the latest Linux version 128.5.0esr but as I am using it there are dialogue boxes that come up minimized and I find it annoying to have to drag the boxes to be larger so I can see what they are trying to communicate. Is this an issue with this version... if so is there a later version to correct the issue. I am trying to use Thunderbird on a Chromebook and seeing this issue whenever a new dialogue box pops up.

Bug importing VCARD file to Thunderbird

I suspect that whitespace is not being stripped before checking for "BEGIN:VCARD"

I am happy to provide the VCARD file but there doesn't appear to be any way to attach files other than images.

I am having trouble downloading mails from my Google mail. I have used Thunderbird for many years but now its not working. I get mail and I can se mails on my iphone and on google mail on my computer but when I start Thunderbird it doesnt download them to my pc.

I downloaded the newest version of Thunderbird and when I upgraded it started download thousands of old emails from 2011 and is still downloading these old mails but not the new once that is sent to me.

It's been a very long time now that I am unable to either respond to or receive e-mails. This is the message Thunderbird leaves me:

Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: <xxx@aol.com> recipient rejected - relay denied.

Please check the message recipient "xxx@aol.com" and try again.

I would appreciate any help to rectify this problem.

I have 128.5.2esr (64-bit) on two different machines.

Both have been experiencing LONG delays sending emails, where the error message is that the email was sent but it couldn't be stored in the sent folder. I have followed instructions to repair that folder but that hasn't had any effect.

This morning this happened again, this time it wouldn't store in either sent or drafts folders. I ran disk checking with no errors reported and no other programs are showing any problems. There is plenty of free disk space, I am only using 407 MB of a 4 TB drive.

I noticed slowness opening a message so went in and did a repair on my inbox. All messages disappeared. Quit TB and restarted, same, no messages. So I did a repair again. The messages reappeared, but most are empty! I don't keep many messages in my inbox, just really critical ones, and now they are all gone.

New emails display correctly.

How can I recover these messages? Some are actually really critical and would take some work to locate as I receive an intense amount of emails and some of the critical ones are months old so would take an enormous amount of time to find in the gmail system.

Please help with suggestions, not only on this but in having TB work without these recurring problems.
