Synopsis
As Windblade and the others wait outside the dome, they attempt to calm Predaking, assuring him again that they do not have the Enigma of Combination. Predaking doubts their words, declaring that he needs the Enigma to survive the coming apocalypse. Volcanicus shuts him up with a punch to the back, and the two began to struggle. Trapped behind their battle with no escape, Perceptor and Victorion curse Megatron for abandoning them.
Inside the dome, Megatron enters its deepest chamber, where he finds the Requiem Blaster hidden inside. He approaches it, but a door on the other end opens, revealing a shadowed figure. He orders Megatron to leave, threatening to attack should he refuse. Megatron doesn't back down, leading the two to begin grappling for the gun.
Victorion continues pounding on the door as Perceptor watches Volcanicus and Predaking fight. Predaking knocks Volcanicus into a pool of energon and marches towards the dome, smacking Perceptor away and shooting Windblade down. As he is about to grab Victorion, the door reopens and Megatron emerges with the Requiem Blaster in hand. He points it at Predaking and orders the Combiner to stand down, confirming that the Enigma was stolen. He promises to inform Predaking if they find it, to which Predaking begrudgingly agrees and walks off.
As the others marvel at the Requiem Blaster, Volcanicus splits back into the Dinobots to free himself from the energon pool. Megatron notes that while the gun is now out of Megatronus's reach, they still don't know what his ultimate plan is. As if on cue, the dome projects a holographic image above them. Perceptor interprets the etchings as a set of coordinates on Cybertron, described as "toward infinity from the center of the center". Grimlock offers his aid on their quest. The door suddenly opens again, and the Requiem Blaster's guardian appears, suggesting they search for answers at the Athenaeum Sanctorum, the legendary library of the gods and home to all their combined knowledge. Stepping out of the dome, he introduces himself as Optimus Primal.

Notes
Errors
Continuity errors
- In the previous episode, Perceptor convinced Predaking that he had the Enigma of Combination and coaxed the combiner into chasing after him for it, in order to save Victorion. This has been forgotten, and Predaking once again is after Victorion instead of Perceptor.
Animation and technical errors
- The captions for the episode misinterpret Primal's "You were warned" as "Your want".
- When Predaking's name is first uttered by Perceptor, the captions spell it as "Predicaking."
Trivia
- Optimus Primal's design draws heavy inspiration from his original appearance in the Beast Wars cartoon, including more rounded limbs and organic-looking fur on his body, but with concessions made to incorporate the design of his Power of the Primes toy, such as the shape of his chestplate.
