    Know your fans, Value your fans.

    The current presale system is failing artists and fans. You would assume the original purpose of artist presales was to give loyal fans a head start to secure a ticket, allowing them to avoid scalpers, long queues, and the potential horror of dynamic pricing. But we all know that's not what's happening. All it takes to join most presales is an email address, putting scalpers & bots on an equal start with superfans. It's chaos. And both real fans AND artists lose. But at Openstage we're creating a new blueprint. One where an artist controls more of their tickets, identifies top, genuine fans, and rewards them with concierge pre-sale access tied to their identity. No stress. No scalpers. In the last few months, we've rolled out hugely successful pilot campaigns with none other than Oasis and Lana Del Rey. (More about those in M-iQ this week) Know your fans. Value your fans.

    Calling all potential Fan Community Managers We are getting asked by a lot of our clients to recommend people with experience in music marketing who can help them run their fan communities using Openstage. At the same time my DM's are full of good people who have recently lost their jobs. I would like to offer training to anyone who is interested in gaining a better understanding of a role that I think will be pivitol to all management groups moving forward. When managers ask "Who should I hire?" I'd like to be able to make good recommendations. Please share this post and DM me if you interested in learning more.

    RULE No 1 in business is KNOW YOUR CUSTOMERS Meta knows that of your followers. 3% - are ready to buy 7% - are open to buying  30% - are not quite ready to buy  60% - will never buy Wouldn’t it be great to be able to segment your fans this way? Solution = Know your fans 1. Find them 2. Use tools that help you figure out who they are, what they do and what is most important to them. 3. Let them spend what they want. From a little to a lot.
