Blogroll Spin #4
I cannot believe I'm already spinning the blogroll again! With no worries about running out of blogs, as I'm pretty sure there is an endless supply of them on the internet, I don't see myself stopping this any time soon. I might take a break during the summer or if I become busy with a new project in the near future, but otherwise, I plant to keep this up.
This round I'm capturing a few omg.lol members (and the owner!) who I've been following quite a while and I'm not entirely sure why they haven't been included until now. I also have some new faces that I've either just discovered altogether or whose blog is brand new or new to me. Let's get rolling!
- Adam Newbold: Neatnik Notes
As a satisfied user of Adam's internet services, I also enjoy reading his intermittent notes on topics ranging from the Fediverse to the dangers of the Apple calculator.
- Angelika Tyborska: Angelika.me
Angelika is talented in areas of development I am not and I love reading about it. There are also some fantastic experiments on the site.
- Captain James: James' Coffee Blog
There is so much fantastic content to explore on James' blog, I get new ideas every time I explore. The posts are inspirational and make me just want to get busy and blog. I always leave feeling a little lighter and more hopeful for the future of the web.
- Chris Ferdinandi: Go Make Things
Chris has years of experience on the web, from writing to teaching to development. I appreciate Chris' perspective on so many topics, especially at the crossroads we find ourselves today.
- Edward Loveall
Edward's blog is new to me. I've only been reading it since the post about AI as a tool, but I am enjoying what I've read so far. And I love the circling red dots around the letter-type logo.
- Eladnarra: eladnarra's site
I admire Eladnarra's writing and willingness to truly develop this site piece-by-piece, starting with structure, accessibility, and a basis of
color-scheme
and system colors. Can't wait to see where it goes! - Eric Portis: ericportis.com
Another new site to me, Eric's post on color spaces is an excellent introduction to the writing and I hope to read more in the future.
- Robb Knight
I've been lurking on Robb's site for the better part of a year, and if there's any site out there that could convince me to switch to use 11ty, it's Robb's. I'm a fan of his work, writing, and ideas. Robb is currently building a very exciting tool called EchoFeed.
- Sara Joy
Also a longtime lurker on Sara's fantastically fun site. Her "Weak Notes" were the inspiration for my own "Some Day Notes" on microblog—solidarity in the sometimes reliable!
