Career
[edit]Karting
[edit]Lacorte finished 56th in the 2021 FIA Karting European Championship.[1] In July 2022, he contested in a scouting camp conducted by the Ferrari Driver Academy.[2]
Formula 4
[edit]2022
[edit]Lacorte made his single-seater debut at the Red Bull Ring round of the 2022 Italian F4 Championship with Iron Lynx.[3] His only points came in his first race, where he ended 28th in the standings.[4]
2023
[edit]Lacorte signed with Prema Racing in 2023 to compete in Formula 4 UAE and Italian F4.[5] In the former, the Italian did not have a very successful campaign, he only managed two points finishes and was 24th in the standings with five points.
In his main campaign, he started the season well with a third placed podium in the first race in Imola.[6] He would proceed to take his first win during the third race after polesitter and teammate Ugo Ugochukwu was eliminated on the opening lap.[7] However, those were the only podiums of his season, only finishing in the points seven more times. At the conclusion of the season, Lacorte placed ninth in the standings, amassing 75 points.[8]
Formula Regional
[edit]Lacorte participated in the 2024 Formula Regional Oceania Championship with M2 Competition.[9] He took part in the first three rounds of the year, and won a race in Hampton Downs Motorsport Park.[10] He finished tenth in the championship.
For his main campaign, Lacorte was promoted to the Formula Regional European Championship with Trident.[11] He had a difficult season, only managing to finish in the points twice with tenth in Spa-Francorchamps and Paul Ricard.[12][13] Scoring three points, the Italian finished 21st in the standings.
FIA Formula 3 Championship
[edit]For 2025, Lacorte was announced to be stepping up to the FIA Formula 3 Championship with new team DAMS Lucas Oil.[14]
Formula One
[edit]In December 2023, Lacorte joined the Alpine Academy.[15]
