I'd prefer to redirect here, but there are some technical problems with the List of Indians representative cricketers - the way that CricketArchive has categorised players in this case includes those who played for touring teams from the earliest years until recently. We'd really need a list of Indian cricketers in the Madras presidency tournament. There might be a case for a redirect to Indians cricket team (or the rather niche Madras Presidency Matches article) whilst someone has the chance to work up a suitable list - I'm likely to be busy all week I'm afraid or else I'd do it. We have a list for the opposition (Europeans cricket team) so there's no reason that we couldn't work up a list on the Indian side as well. Blue Square Thing (talk) 20:14, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@AssociateAffiliate:: I'm away from my home computer which allows me to access CricketArchive easily, so it would be the beginning of next week before I can get anywhere close to this. I'm happy to do so, but we'd need time to get the page wrangled properly - perhaps a closing admin might like to give us a little more time on this one, or redirect to a red link? @Blur Square Thing:. I can make a start in the next few days. A search on CA returned about 80 matches involving the Indians and probably about 30 or so were non-Presidency Matches, so shouldn't take too long. StickyWicket (talk) 12:42, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
