Greece goes to lockdown due to Covid-19 outbreak with police checkups

Citizens, strollers, bikers and all the people who are outside of their houses are checked by the police officers with face mask and gloves for the special permission documents or SMS and ID that allows them to be out of their houses, as seen at the New Promenade of Thessaloniki, the second-largest city in the country, during a cloudy and rainy day. The waterfront a popular overcrowded usually landmark for tourists and locals is almost empty during the second day of the complete national lockdown. The Greek government and the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis implemented the lock-down of the country with the closure of the shops and traffic restrictions as a strong preventive measure against the spread of Covid-19 Coronavirus Pandemic.
