Are you a film and media maker, journalist, creative person, from a (youth) organization, association or initiative and were involved in a media contribution that deals with the topic of data protection? Whether a long or short film, reportage, print or podcast, song, media platform, video clip or animation contribution - every contribution has the chance to win the award, which is endowed with 3,000 euros. The annual DAME Data Protection Media Prize honors the work of creative and media professionals who communicate the topic of data protection or aspects thereof in a clear and understandable way and thus contribute to the secure handling of personal data.
The award ceremony will take place during the BvD Association Days on the evening of May 27 in Berlin. Further information on the Data Protection Media Prize and the nominated entries can be found at: www.datenschutzmedienpreis.de.
klicksafe supports the Data Protection Media Prize as a media partner. klicksafe is represented on the jury by Stefanie Rack. In 2022, klicksafe also involved a youth juror in the jury process. Eric Hohenadel will be involved again this year and will pay particular attention to the contributions for children and young people.
