Recently, Andrés Gluski, our President and CEO, joined Judy Khan Shaw on the “NYSE Floor Talk" series to talk about how the rapid growth of AI is significantly increasing the demand for renewable energy. According to Andrés, "Renewables are the most competitive energy source to supply the growth in electricity demand coming from data centers." This surge in demand is significant, with estimates suggesting it could be equivalent to the entire electricity consumption of France over the next 5-6 years. Andrés also highlighted the important, strategic use of energy storage solutions to ensure steady and reliable energy that can be smartly deployed. Batteries can also help optimize the use of existing transmission infrastructure. #RenewableEnergy #AI #EnergyStorage
