In 2020, we began using a tool called Project Lighthouse  to help us uncover and address potential disparities in how users of different perceived races may experience Airbnb. There’s more work to do, but we are pleased to report that our approach is working: booking success rates have improved for all groups since releasing this data in 2022. Learn more:
