IF1200A and the Linebird OHM Meter Payload System, we’re testing how drones can safely and effectively operate in energized environments. Over the past two months we had the opportunity to log some valuable flight time with the Inspired Flight Technologies Inc. IF1200a and have now moved on to training and researching with the Linebird payload systems attached after training on the IF1200a itself. The City of Troy Utilities is collaborating with the American Public Power Association (APPA) through the DEED Grant to explore and develop innovative ways to enhance utility operations—not just for today, but for the future.
