The guess that we exist in a simulation, which is a node in the hierarchy of multiple nested simulations, is well-known and obvious. Anyone might independently arrive at such an idea, separate from others. It's not so easy to explain what makes the inhabitants of a simulation create subordinate simulations so tenaciously. My suggestion is that each intellect, considering itself natural, wants to create an artificial one. Therefore, it needs a simulation in which to train it.

With the simulators/manipulatives, I've started to add in common image templates that can be used during a modelling activity. https://lnkd.in/eT3zCeNx Today I added in a balance to the tiles simulator. This was useful with my yr 7 to explain the impact of inverse operations and balancing equations.
