A harmful joke posted on the 4Chan bulletin board after Apple's iOS 8 operating system was released that claimed you could now charge your iPhone 6 in your microwave. Unfortunately, some people fell for the prank and destroyed their smartphones. See iOS versions and iPhone 6.
