Just a boyfriend taking care of his tipsy girlfriend after her brother’s grand wedding
The wedding of the year, possibly of the decade, had come to an impressive end under the twinkling sky of Jeju Island. The Kim family had gone all out for their eldest son's wedding, and you, the groom's younger sister, were still reeling from the sheer lavishness of it all. The luxurious resort, the white floral arrangements that seemed to stretch endlessly, the designer gowns, and the never-ending supply of champagne — all of it screamed elegance.
You experienced an upsurge of emotions, speeches, and, admittedly, one too many glasses of wine. The night had been perfect — until now.
“Baby, my feet hurt,” you whined, your voice slurring slightly as you slumped against your boyfriend.
He caught you effortlessly with one arm around your waist to keep you steady and the other flying out to grab your clutch bag, which you almost dropped on your way back to your hotel room.
“I told you those heels were a bad idea,” Wonwoo said, chuckling, his tone warm despite the teasing.
You groaned in response as your head lolled against his broad shoulder. The towering stilettos you insisted on wearing earlier that day were now your sworn enemies. They looked stunning when you paired them with your emerald-green gown, a dress that hugged your figure perfectly and earned you many compliments throughout the evening.
But beauty, you realised too late, came at a price
“I’m never wearing heels again,” you declared dramatically, stumbling slightly as Wonwoo guided you along the cobblestone path leading to your hotel suite.
“Sure you aren’t,” he said with a knowing smirk.
“I mean it!” you said, throwing your arms around his neck for balance and nearly knocking him off course.
“From now on, it’s trainers or barefoot. No exceptions” you firmly voiced.
Wonwoo tightened his grip on your waist, steadying you as you reached the resort’s grand lobby, which was now grimly quiet compared to the earlier chaos of the reception. Chandeliers hung above you, their crystals shimmering faintly in the dimmed lighting, and your wobbly steps echoed softly on the marble floor.
“You know,” you murmured, your voice muffled as you pressed your face against his shoulder,
“Mingyu really went all out this time. I mean, who books out an entire resort for a wedding? I didn’t even know we had this kind of money!” you questioned,
Wonwoo chuckled, adjusting your weight slightly as you headed for the elevator. “Your family definitely knows how to throw a party. I think everyone on Jeju Island heard about this wedding” he said.
You smiled lazily. “It was like a K-drama, wasn’t it? All the drama, the speeches, the glamorous outfits…Gyu probably spent his entire life savings on this” you giggled.
“Worth it, though” your boyfriend said, “everything was perfect” he added as he pressed the elevator button.
“Perfect except for my feet,” you muttered, pouting. You shifted your weight again, leaning so heavily against Wonwoo that he practically had to hold you up as the elevator doors opened.
You groaned again as you stared at the elevator panel. “How much longer? My feet can’t take this. My whole body can’t take this!” you complained for the hundredth time.
“It’s just an elevator ride and then a short walk to our room” Wonwoo reassured you.
“That’s what you always say,” you replied in an accusatory tone. You wobbled again slightly as the elevator doors opened with a soft chime, and Wonwoo caught you before you could tumble forward.
Without hesitation, he bent down and scooped you up into his arms. You let out a surprised squeak, quickly wrapping your arms around his neck as he stepped into the elevator.
“Wonwoo! You’re going to hurt your back or something!” you protested, though there was no real conviction in your voice.
“I think I’ll survive” he replied, the corners of his lips twitching into a smirk.
You relaxed against him, your head resting on his shoulder as he began to walk out of the elevator. “You really are the best,” you murmured, your voice soft now.
“Carrying me like a prince. My knight in shining armour”
“You’ve been watching too many dramas” Wonwoo shook his head, chuckling.
“Maybe,” you admitted. You tilted your head to look at him with a playful glint in your eyes. “But don’t act like you don’t like being the hero” you raised a brow.
“Someone’s got to keep you out of trouble,” he said, giving you a knowing look.
The hallway was still brightly lit, and the plush carpet muffled his footsteps as he continued to effortlessly carry you toward your suite at the far end.
You let out a contented sigh as you nestled closer to him. “How did I get so lucky?” you murmured.
“Pretty sure I’m the lucky one,” Wonwoo replied, his tone teasing.
“No, really,” you insisted, your voice still dreamy. “You’re so kind, thoughtful, and patient. You didn’t even get mad when I spilled champagne on your shirt earlier.”
“You don’t even remember spilling champagne on me, do you?” he raised an eyebrow.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about,” you said with an exaggerated pout.
Wonwoo laughed softly as you finally reached your suite. He shifted you slightly so he could swipe the key card, and the door clicked open. He carried you inside, kicking the door closed behind him, and set you gently down on the edge of the bed. You immediately flopped backward, letting out a dramatic sigh of relief.
“Finally!” You exclaimed. “I thought I’d die before making it to the bed.”
Wonwoo rolled his eyes fondly as he walked over to the minibar and grabbed a bottle of water. He returned to the bed and handed it to you.
“Drink this, you’ll thank me later” he said.
You propped yourself up on one elbow, taking the bottle and twisting the cap off. You took a few sips, and your lips curled into a soft smile.
“You’re too good to me, you know that?” you spoke up.
“I just don’t want to hear you complain about a headache tomorrow,” he replied, sitting down beside you.
You narrowed your eyes at him playfully, “you act all tough, but I know you care” you said.
“Well someone has to look out for you” he said, his tone teasing but sincere.
You groaned with exaggerated relief as you kicked off your heels on the floor. “Sweet freedom,” you sighed, wiggling her sore toes. You let yourself fall backwards again and stretch out on the bed.
Wonwoo knelt to retrieve your shoes and set them neatly by the door. When he turned back, he found you staring at him intensely. You weren’t blinking, and your gaze was sharp despite the haze of alcohol.
“What?” he asked, leaning back against the wall and crossing his arms, though the heat of your stare made his skin prickle.
You tilted your head as a lazy smile tugged at your lips. “You look so fucking hot tonight, do you know?” you said with a low and husky voice which slurred slightly at the edges.
He raised an eyebrow, trying not to laugh. “I look the same as I always do” he shrugged.
“No” you shook your head, your hair splaying across the pillow.
“Tonight, you’re…mmm, different. Maybe it’s the suit. Or maybe it’s just me” you slightly moaned.
Wonwoo could see it in your eyes now, the champagne-fueled spark that was unmistakable. Lust. A heat that seemed to radiate from you, even as you lay sprawled on the bed like a satisfied cat.
“Oh, so it’s the suit now, huh?” he quipped, pushing himself off the wall and stepping closer, but there was a knowing edge to his voice.
“What’s going on in that pretty head of yours baby?” he raised a brow.
As he leaned down slightly, you didn’t give him a chance to finish his thought. Grabbing him by the lapels of his jacket, you tugged him forward, your surprising strength pulling him between your knees.
“You,” you whispered, your breath warm and sweet from the champagne, “are mine.”
You lips quickly found his before he could respond, soft and insistent as you kissed him with an aggression that caught him off guard. His hands moved instinctively to your waist, securing you as you leaned further into him, and your fingers tangled in the fabric of his jacket.
“Hey,” he murmured between kisses, trying to break away for a moment, but you weren’t having it.
“Don’t ‘hey’ me,” you snapped, your voice husky now. “You know exactly what I want.”
Your hands moved to his tie and pulled it loose with one swift motion, your fingers working fast despite your earlier clumsiness. He chuckled low in his throat, his lips brushing against your jaw as he spoke.
“Someone’s not tired anymore, huh?”
You shook your head, your nails grazing the back of his neck as you pulled him closer again. “Not even a little.” Your boldness stirred something in Wonwoo, and he allowed himself to sink into the moment, matching your intensity as your bodies pressed closer.
Sleep was threatening to consume you at the same time but the feeling of his hard cock pressing against your clothed slit was what kept you from dozing off.
“Mhmm, fuck, baby you’re so hard” you moaned into the heated kiss as your hand snaked downwards to massaged his arousal. Wonwoo sucked in a sharp breath and shut his eyes in an attempt to control himself from losing it completely.
Before things could escalate further, Wonwoo broke the kiss and pulled away, earning a long whine from you. As much as he wanted to fuck the living daylights out of you, he knew better not to take advantage of your drunken state.
“Babe, you’ve had quite a lot to drink today, you need rest, hmm?” he stroked your flushed cheeks.
“Noo! I want you to fuck me. Baby please” you begged.
Wonwoo chuckled as he shook his head, “maybe tomorrow, but not when you’re like this” he reasoned.
You huffed in annoyance, “then what about the little problem you have down there? Surely you need my help to solve it” you tried to persuade him somehow.
But he shook his head once again, his grin never wiping from his lip. “I’ll take care of it, don’t worry” he said.
“Don’t tell me you’re going to lock yourself in the bathroom and masturbate while watching porn” you scoffed.
Wonwoo simply shrugged uncaringly. But you knew him better, because that was exactly what he was going to do — at least once you were asleep.
“Whatever” you found yourself giving up, and your arousal slowly began to dull.
Your eyes were getting heavier, but your boyfriend shifted closer to you and tapped your cheek lightly. “Hey, don’t fall asleep yet, you need to remove your makeup” he said, but you groaned in protest and turned your face the other way.
“I’ll do it in the morning” you mumbled almost incoherently as your eyes slowly fluttered closed.
Wonwoo stared at you for a moment, then sighed. He knew he couldn’t let you wake up with smudged mascara and foundation stamped across the pillow. Resigned, he stood and made his way to the bathroom. He dug through your toiletries bag and found a pack of makeup-removing wipes.
When he returned, you hadn’t moved an inch, except for your arms, which you wrapped around a pillow. “Alright, Sleeping Beauty,” he said softly, sitting beside you on the bed. “Let’s do this.”
Carefully, he brushed back your hair to expose your face. He unfolded a wipe and began to clean your skin gently. You stirred slightly and scrunched your nose but didn’t open your eyes.
“You’re lucky I love you,” he said, grinning as he wiped away smudged eyeliner and the remaining of what was your once red lipstick.
As he finished, he tossed the used wipe onto the nightstand and leaned down to press a soft kiss to your now-bare cheek. “All done,” he whispered.
You stirred again, a sleepy smile tugging at your lips. “This is why I love you,” you mumbled, barely audible, before sinking back into sleep.
“You’ve said that like five times today” he chuckled as he pulled the blanket over you.
Wonwoo got up and removed his suit jacket before turning off the lights. Neither of you had the energy to do anything else, let alone change clothes, so he simply slid into bed beside you and pulled you close.
Wonwoo felt you shift slightly as your hand brushed lightly against his chest. “Baby…” you whispered with a lips curving into a small smile.
“Yes?” he responded as he rested his chin over your head.
“Don’t go far,” you said, your eyes still closed but your smile still lingering.
He chuckled softly, brushing a strand of hair from your face. “I’m not going anywhere my love” he reassured.
“Good” was the last thing you said before falling asleep — for real this time.
“Goodnight baby, and, I love you more” he pressed a tender kiss on your lips before drifting off to sleep.
