Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? З 1 по 31 жовтня запрошуємо до участі в українській частині міжнародного фотоконкурсу «Вікі любить пам'ятки», метою якого є фотографування пам'яток історико-культурної спадщини України. Зі списками пам'яток можна ознайомитися тут.

Окрім основних номінацій у конкурсі є дев’ять спеціальних номінацій та відзнак: «Відео», «Війна руйнує пам'ятки», «Елементи екстер'єру», «Єврейська спадщина» (включаючи караїмські), «Інтер'єри», «Німецька спадщина», «Польська спадщина», «Фотоплівка» та «Визначні місця Харкова».

Важливо! Через російське вторгнення в Україну також довелося змінити умови: у більшості випадків тільки роботи зняті до 30 червня 2024 року включно будуть прийматися на конкурс. Тільки фото інтер'єрів памяток можна подавати без обмеження за датою створення.

I'd say so. There are backlogs all over the place for things that only admins can do. E.g. we are always months behind in closing DRs and CfDs.

I would guess that pretty much every admin is maxed on the amount of admin work they are willing to do, or close to it, so really the only way we get more time on admin tasks is either (1) add new admins or (2) someone ends up doing more than they are happy doing (3) as a few have proposed, but it seems to be going nowhere, take certain tasks that have been exclusive to admins and create new categories of users that can do those particular tasks.

You've seemed to me to be capable, consistently well-intentioned, even-tempered, even-handed, and respectful of existing consensus even when it might not be exactly what you personally would choose to do. Those are pretty much the characteristics we need in an admin. - Jmabel ! talk 23:48, 27 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Jmabel: Well, there are some admin tasks I'd feel confident about, but quite a few that I wouldn't. If it would be acceptable for me to do the ones I understand, and learn others when I have the time and energy to do so, I'd be willing to be nominated.
