Prevent card counting by learning the basics  (detailed calculations shared in part 5) How does card counting work in Blackjack? Part 2 The fun part happens when players take advantage of the count. ↓They use true count.  So what is the true count? The true count is the running count divided by the number of decks remaining in the shoe.    Again: True Count =Running Count / Number of Decks Remaining The true count is different than the running count. How? The true count is already based on how many decks are left in the shoe 👞 How do players win with this knowledge? Pretty simple, actually:  ↑Increase the bet when the true count reaches a certain mark,  ↓Decrease the bet when the true count is below a certain mark. EXAMPLE #1: If our Running Count is 10 and we have 5 decks remaining, our True Count is 2. (10 ÷ 5) EXAMPLE #2: If our Running Count is -7 and we have 2 decks remaining, our True Count is -3. Fernando Haddad, the Minister of Finance, supports the approval of Bill No. 2.234/2022, which legalizes casinos, bingo, “jogo do bicho,” and horse racing bets in on-site locations. The general vote will take place at the beginning of August. The reasoning is simple:  Gambling creates a new business environment and, in consequence, jobs, income, and tourist inflow. Another part of the reasoning is quite amusing: OECD countries and G20 countries have regulated gambling, so it can't be bad for the economy or social sphere. 🇫🇷 iGaming Market Legalization in France by 2025 The French government is exploring the legalization of the iGaming market to boost revenue and reduce illegal activities. Current Situation: 1. Only sports betting and poker are legal. 2. Illegal online platforms generate up to €1.5 billion in quarterly revenue. Plans and Goals: • New Law: A draft will be reviewed in 2025. • Objective: Create a safe, transparent market aligned with international standards. • Inspiration: Following examples from the UK, Germany, and Italy. Statement from French Legislators: “Unregulated platforms lead to lost revenue and player risks. Legalization will provide safer alternatives.” A decision is expected by late 2025.

If you want to raise profits in the Spanish online gambling market, Here's the information you cannot miss: The market saw an 11.2% increase in GGR in the first quarter of 2024, reaching €350.7 million. Betting, especially pre-match betting, is a major growth area. Casino segments, like slots and live roulette, are also performing well. Is your iGaming growth stagnant? You’re likely mimicking the market. Only 38% of global marketers evaluate holistic ROI by measuring traditional and digital marketing efforts together, according to Nielsen's annual report. In the iGaming and betting industry, this number is surely lower, as majority of the operators don't even measure a digital channel's impact holistically. Most operators focus on bottom-of-the-funnel channels and campaigns, and over-rely on affiliates, neglecting comprehensive ROI measurement and growth strategies. This narrow focus limits incremental growth, leaving many operators growing only at the market rate, at best. For our clients, story is different and I raise the incrementality topic already in the onboarding process. Yes, we'll achieve the best Cost per FTD for demanding and bottom of the funnel channels for you but let's not forget to invest in top of the funnel campaigns and activities - and measure it accordingly. You don't need to implement Marketing Mix Modelling immediately. Depending on your budgets, you might never need to. However, a conversion lift study, a search lift study, or simply asking your active users where they've found you is a good start.
