Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to be part of Impact Week in Bilbao. Hosted by Impact Europe, this inspiring event focused on sparking conversations and driving positive change with a close lens on Impact Investing and Philanthropy. Our League of Intrapreneurs team delivered a fantastic workshop, THE POWER OF INTRAPRENEURSHIP FOR SOCIAL INNOVATION AND A REGENERATIVE ECONOMY, led by our CEO, Jolana Jamuna Amara, and Daniela Elster Rifo, Head of Community. They discussed the intrinsic power and importance of being able to imagine what sustainable and regenerative economy looks like. Can we really imagine it? Arguing, that similar to any inventor, we must be able to envision the world Sustainable Development Goals define. And the role intrapreneurship can play in bringing this to reality. We absolutely loved how Impact Week explored the journey from the chaos of today’s world to the light through bold action. Over the three days, we created a special Sanctuary within the event, offering a peaceful space for participants to connect and reflect on the insights and wisdom shared in the inspiring workshops and panel discussions. Looking forward to 2025 infused with hope, meaningful connections and renewed energy to innovate from within.

We are a global learning community of intrapreneurs and catalysts driving change from within influential institutions.
About us
The League of Intrapreneurs is a global community of corporate and institutional change agents who believe that business has a role in getting us to a more prosperous tomorrow. The League’s Theory of Change is rooted in the idea that our incumbent institutions have a role to play in creating a just, equitable and regenerative world. Intrapreneurs are innovators on the inside of these organizations who are harnessing their assets for positive systems change. Beyond the innovative initiatives that intrapreneurs lead (the WHAT), we believe the transformative power is in HOW they lead, bringing their full humanity to work, reprogramming our institutions to serve people and planet (not the other way around). Working from influential positions, intrapreneurs can ripple change throughout society and are natural allies for social entrepreneurs and other systems change agents. The League invests in four areas to enable intrapreneurs to accelerate the emergence of a new system: • Courage to be bold and bring their full humanity to create the new in the face of pressure from the old system • Action Learning to create space for deeper reflection and insights from peers to advance creative solutions to systemic challenges • Relationships or critical connections based on trust to other actors in the system • Storytelling to influence and open up new spheres of possibility by shifting the underlying narratives

Social Intrapreneurship and The City of Leipzig. We just wrapped an inspiring two-day workshop in Leipzig, where courageous steps were taken to embed intrapreneurship into the city’s leadership structures. Together with employees from various departments of the City’s infrastructure, we explored the foundations of intrapreneurship, and brought emerging ideas to life through our dynamic case clinics. Deepening their potential to create meaningful impact for the City of Leipzig’s citizens. A huge congratulations to everyone who contributed their incredible energy, openness, and creativity to bring this workshop to life. Our gratitude especially extends to Ulrich Hoerning, for his vision and Nadia Arndt for her support in bringing this vision to reality. Here’s to building a future powered by collaboration and innovation! 🌱💡 Jolana Jamuna Amara Vanessa Edmeier Dennis Hoenig-Ohnsorg

Congratulations Delphine Bouchereau-Mazillier! Let's keep spreading the great work of intrapreneurs!
*Social Innovation* & *Intrapreneurship* What an honour to introduce my professional journey to the King's College London Executive MBA students last week. Being identified as a "#socialchange agent and an #intrapreneur" by one of the famous business school in London was a privilege that my #impostersyndrom makes me regularly doubt about. A huge thanks to Elisa Alt for her trust, as well as all the students who carefully listened to my story ! #Intrapreneurship is a real journey, with ups and downs. I was lucky enough to follow the program of The League of Intrapreneurs, as well as the certification from Ashoka in a moment where I felt alone and frustrated (cause yes, it happens frequently when you try to think out of the box, which could be translated by "thinking out of the short-term priorities" in a big firm), but I was never alone...because luckily, the positive changes in the world are often made by incredible intrapreneurs. They could be low profiles, focusing on concrete silent actions which lead to visible results, or they could be focusing on planting seeds in their organisation, so that future changes happen quietly but efficiently. Sometimes, they are full of courage and have the energy to innovate and sometimes they need a rest in order to recharge their energy level for the next battle. This opportunity to present my journey definitively helped me to refill my energy power! Thank you King's College London for investing in programmes to develop better business for a better world; it was an honour!🙏 #socialinnovation #socialchange #intrapreneurship #leadership #BusinessSchool #ExecutiveMBA #businessforgood #ESG

Emotional, social, and cultural factors, along with psychological and cognitive tendencies, play significant roles in our decision-making. This is not to say that facts and reason do not matter; rather, stories often do much of the heavy lifting at first. At the League, we strongly believe that stories are very powerful and they can either reinforce our current perspectives or possess the transformative potential to change them. In this article, we explore how to navigate our own narrative and discover whether crafting a new one better aligns with our aspirations. Read the full magazine here: https://bit.ly/4gM1kCg
