What do you do if your energy levels are plummeting in a demanding strategic communications career?
You need to understand what gives you the dopamine hit and then try and get it frequently every day to keep being energized. For me, it's talking to clients. For you, it may be something else. If you feel drained, try and change your daily routine and do something different like have walking meetings where you have your meeting with your manager while your walk in the park. Change your routine monthly and even weekly to get your energy levels up. Try and mix up repetitive work with creative work, which can also help significantly.

The Cost of Drone War in Undeclared Theatres of Middle East

The US claims that their drones are the panacea to seek and eliminate terrorist targets in remote areas of the Middle East.
This paper analyses various areas to see whether drones reduced the cost of war on terror using Pakistan as secondary source case study. Whether drones have reduced the financial cost is widely debated and analysis in this paper suggests that drones currently are more cost-effective. Moreover analysis from this paper highlights that surgical strikes have led to fewer civilian casualties. This has increased their domestic support at home and has led to public blowback abroad due to the use of signature strikes claiming innocent lives. Dehumanisation of warfare has made it possible to conduct around the clock missions increasing the demand for drone operators; however, lack of optimum crew levels has led to increased stress and therefore mistakes being made.
The analysis confirms that drones reduce the cost of war. However, drones have attracted international criticism with regard to violation of international law and disrespect for human life, which has led to increased Taliban recruitment. This calls for reassessment of current procedures and rules together with new legislation that would incorporate the use of drones.
