🚨Calling all climate researchers! EXPECT partners will be hosting a session at the #EGU2025 on Attribution & Prediction of #ClimateChange. The session convened by Markus Donat, Dim Coumou, Christian Lessig, Antje Weisheimer at #EGU2025 will explore the attribution and prediction of climate change, both regionally and globally. If your work touches on these areas, you can pitch in with your abstract! Contributions are welcome on: 👉Attributing drivers of specific climate phenomena and extremes (e.g., atmospheric circulation and surface extremes during the boreal summer) 👉Evaluating climate responses to various forcings and internal variability 👉Correcting biased climate models with process-based constraints 👉Calibrating predictions and projections of future climate 👉Leveraging AI and innovative data analysis techniques The deadline is 15 January 2025, 13:00 CET. Don’t miss out! 🔗 https://bit.ly/3CHALPa #ClimateScience #ClimatePrediction #AIinClimate #ClimateChange

The underpinning need within the AI cross section with Climate Change is the need of the centralized dashboard that shows both macro- change and the micro and nano changes of those linked to the dashboard showing the reductions and offsetting globally, and the effects real time per action taken, per company with all the actions combined, in a full reported science based targets real time tracking or at a minimum quarterly, showing the country by country progress of a united system / dashboard to show, and to have a global dashboard to see globally, inclusive of linked contributors who can assist in tweeting and improving each others change and recommended proven activities. This is what will make the Zero Universe, ZeroUniverse.ai.

Amazing things can be done with artificial intelligence (AI). We might focus on how it can be used for our specific jobs or how it can solve a particular problem we are currently working on. But AI has the potential to make our lives better in many ways we don’t often think about. That said, we also need to consider the negative consequences of AI and some of the challenges that still need to be thought through. This article highlights some of these challenges.
AI can help address climate change but some challenges to its use must still be overcome, according to Climate Change AI co-founder Priya Donti. https://lnkd.in/e74YXPMM

System Inc. is now including data related to the environment and #climatechange in their large-scale, #AI-powered graph. Read about the new vertical from CEO Adam Bly below.
Today we are taking the first, very exciting step toward scaling System beyond health with the addition of preliminary data about climate change and the environment! Climate change is the single greatest driver of complexity in the world — impacting virtually everything in some way, from migration to food security, infectious diseases to housing prices. Our aim is to use AI to represent this dynamic system accurately and comprehensively to help you understand, simulate, analyze, model, and predict its effects better, surface new solutions, and help make the case for investments and interventions. We'd love to hear from you if you're interested in the relationship between health and climate, the systemic effects of climate change, or the application of AI to tackle climate change.
