Google Assistant on Sense 2 and Versa 4

Hello,

I pre-ordered Sense 2 and waited for a month. Then I'm disappointed with the device without Google Assistant but only Amazon Alexa. Alexa doesn't support our region (Taiwan) and language (Trad. Chinese).

Also, when notification comes, it always shows the app logo for too long then the content, please shorten the duration.

I don't see any reason to release a new watch without Google Assistant, especially now that Google owns FitBit. Why go backwards from the 3? It doesn't give me too much of a reason to want to upgrade from Versa 2 to 4, especially when the Versa 3 has it!

Hi@dtsoaker - it does seem odd, also that it has no music either when most other brands have them.

The target audience for the Sense 2 and Versa 4 is yet to be established. It has many people baffled why they would go backwards and produce a "Lite" watch at a higher price.

Ugh - I just got my Versa 4 today, and will be returning it for a Versa 3. No Google Assistant support, but Alexa support? Really?!?!

4 I have had many fitbit devices from the first versa. I love my versa 3 but I miss the button. Glad to hear versa 4 has the button. One feature I use all day every day is the Google Assistant. Alexa cannot compare. Why can't there an update to add the versa 3 option-alexa or google assistant? I cannot buy the versa 4 without Google Assistant.

Google owns Fitbit but still why is there no Google assistant. Vote if you also want Google assistant. Why was there a choice on the Sense but only Alexa on Sense 2 and Versa 4?

Prioritizing Alexa over Google Assistant on V4 and S2 tell me that papa Google wants me to get rid of my google devices and switch to Amazon products. They may not want to compete with their own Pixel (which cannot hold a candle to Fitbit for health) watch, but they need to bring back Assistant to their product lineup.

Fitbit by Google and not support Google assistant 🙂 it is so funny)) I think you can fix than with firmware update. If you have alexa assistant probably it will be possible with Google assistant. Just adding Google assistant engine or connect with API to Google assistant engine. Thanks!
