Disappointed to the Max: Nest Ringbell and Pixel Table

Hi everyone, I own couple of nest products and lately it has been quite a disappointing experience. Got a Nest ringbell (1stGen wired) plus couple of others nest cam; I was running the bunch (since 2019) through a 1st Gen Nest Hub. It was working. It was getting slower and slower. But it was working. Few months ago I thought it will be a good idea to upgrade the Hub to address the slow issue; I purchased the Pixel Tablet as my understanding was that it had the same functionality as another Gen Hub. That was clearly a mistake. At the beginning it was working-ish, when someone was ringing the door the Pixel Tablet was notifying it (not a bell though and not casting directly the nest ringbell) but at least, I knew someone was there.

For few weeks now it does not even deliver notifications, hence if someone does ring the bell, I've got no way to know (except via my iPhone notifications). I've double checked everything and notifications are clearly all enabled on all devices and so on... I'm stuck. And I hate it. And I'm paying a Nest Aware sub for that.

Anyone has got a similar experience and managed to fix it?

Hello. It isn't a feature that was removed. I've tested my own and the notification and video feed still pop up on my tablet.

It's worth noting that for the video feed to automatically load up, the tablet needs to be in its dock. If you're not getting any notification at all though, I'd double check that all your devices are part of the same Google home, and it might be worth completely restarting all of your routers and other network devices to see if that helps.
