🌎 Last week, our President and CEO Sean Litton and VP for Public Affairs and Communications Jess Lishak participated in the First Global Ministerial Conference on Ending Violence Against Children in Bogotá, Colombia. Over 1,400 people, including 118 governments, NGOs, intergovernmental bodies, youth advocates, and survivors, gathered for a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to protect children everywhere. We were proud to: 🗣 Speak at the opening high-level plenary panel on strategies to end violence against children, focusing on our efforts to combat online child sexual exploitation and abuse. We shared how the tech industry is working collaboratively and with global partners to keep children safe online. 💬 Participate, alongside our member Meta, in a satellite event addressing online harms against children, hosted by Safe Online, WeProtect Global Alliance, and the Brave Movement. 🤝 Engage with global leaders, policymakers, experts, and practitioners to discuss the tech industry’s unique role in driving collaboration, innovation, and commitment to tackle online child sexual abuse. Together, we are creating safer online spaces for children to learn, explore, and connect. Let’s keep moving forward and building partnerships across sectors to secure a brighter, safer digital future for all children. Thanks to the World Health Organization, UNICEF, and the Governments of Colombia and Sweden for hosting this historic event. #TechCoalition #EndViolenceAgainstChildren #OCSEA #ChildSafety #DigitalSafety
